Toddlers in Tiaras

This show seems to fascinate me.. On the one hand you have young girls who truly love the playing dress up aspect of it all and performing. It develops confidence and dedication which can lead to being good work ethics...

On the other hand you have pageant mothers who spoil their girls to no end and go completely over the top with makeup, tanning, nails, flippers, and so on and so forth. It's just rediculous to see this happening to 4 and 5 year olds, I am 24 years old and I don't even tan or wear that much make up! They act like little Prima Donna's and why not if they can get away with it. Oh and I'm sorry but if you have to give your 5 year old some coffee to perk her up on pageant day then they need to be napping and coloring instead!

When it comes to these things I'm all for having fun and winning some money if you can but not at the expensive of making your daughter grow up soooo fast and becoming a mini sex symbol before they can even read! Glitz pageants should be out and natural pageants for ages 18 and under. Be sides when your a young girl in school you should be learning about natural beauty inside and out, isn't that the whole point to life in a sence?
